You're the twenty dollars I found in my jeans pocket.
You're the freshly baked chocolate chip cookie straight from the oven.
You're the sun peaking through the clouds.
You're the new born baby in my arms.
You're the doctor who just gave me the good news.
You're the cup of hot coacoa on a frigid winter day.
You're the sunset on the beach after a long day.
You're everything in the world that makes me smile.
You're the love of my life and bestfriend till the end.

My Soaring Bird
You caught my curiosity
The way you make me melt
Your arms wrapped tight around me
Your skin is all I felt.
From then on you were the one
I wanted all the time.
To hold forever in my heart.
To know that you are mine.
And when our journey ends
and you're far away from me.
A bird high in the sky
to fly so far and free.

Trickery
I keep imagining I smell the smoke of your cigarette
Breathing deeply in to comfort myself
but when I turn around I find noone there
Tears well in my eyes as I wonder why my mind would play such a harsh trick
What have I done to deserve this trickery
The once calming smell only puts me in a furry once again.

Can't Make You Stay
Why do I try so hard?
I can't make you stay.
After all we've been through,
Please don't go away.
I can't eat, I can't sleep
but I can't let you know.
It won't make things better,
I don't want you to go.
You hold me to tight.
I know that you care.
But who's here to comfort
when I'm in dispair.
What we had, it was magic,
a gift on Christmas day.
I've don all that I can
and can't make you stay.

When Trees Part
There's a clearing in the distance
as her footprints mark the ground
snapping twigs and rustling leaves
birls fluttering al around.
In the distance as trees part
A glimpse of sunlight melts her heart.
For from within the forest trees
she never thought that she would see
the end that she's been waiting for,
the death of all her misery.
The happiness she's so close to
when the woods do part her way
she'll have the courage to say
"Things have finally gone my way."

Please, Come Back
My tears are not of loss
but of time to quickly gone.
The present seems to fade
into a long forgotten song.
As precious time flutters,
passes by and won't look back,
our home become more empty
as you begin to pack.
Although I know it's come
I can't prepare the day
you'll walk out one last time
leaving me in dismay.
I'll only hope to hear from you
as you travel 'round.
Praying you'll come back to me
like spring flowers from the ground.
